- mjevans 4y agoThen, vs, now... Tampered Persistent Management 2.0 The media companies shipped a rootkit with that PC you bought, and now it's mandatory to run the popular OS that most people use. Your computer is not your own; it is a 'trusted' device for movie and audio companies.
- azalemeth 4y agoWhen this scandal happened, I vowed never to buy DRM or Sony products again. I haven't. I'm not entirely sure what this has achieved, but occasionally I send a message to organisations saying that I'm not going to buy their media because of DRM.
