A Search Engine for Metaverse
- fcracker79 4y agoHi there, I am working on a search engine for metaverses. The idea would be to index the contents such as events, rooms, games. These assets are not present in the supporting blockchains and thus it would be nice to have them indexed somewhere. Currently it's a bit stuck due to lack of APIs to query and index metaverses. - superchroma 4y agoIs there anything actually interesting to search? The mind imagines the metaverse of Snow Crash in response to the word but I haven't heard of anything comparable, for all the hyped up announcements that metaverses are the future, and it seems that services VRChat and Second Life realized the dream before crypto people did.
- fcracker79 4y agoThanks for your message. Not yet, indeed: metaverses offer just a different speculation mechanism,rather than a real immersive experience. My bet is on the hope that it will change at a certain point. Being ready to index them when it happens may be a relevant advantage before a Google takes over the whole field
