I almost see the appeal. I mean, custom chess pieces for money is a pretty close analogy to the real world and chess game history could benefit by being on an immutable blockchain. But what's up with the metagame stuff?
I actually don't hate this idea.
Though I'm not sure why this idea needs a product team bigger than my last three startups which were all larger in scope. Not sure if that is a comment on how overstaffed they are or how under staffed I am, though.
