Isolation has failed. Russia is only being isolated by countries where American soldiers are stationed.
Why should India or Nigeria care about some war in Ukraine?
Sounds mean, but this is what they think.
- heneryville 4y agoWhile total economic isolation would be nice, that's never been the target. Energy exports have been allowed throughout, with Europe trying to figure out how to reduce dependency. Most of the sanctions has focused on import isolation, and that appears to be moderately successful. That energy exports are continuing to happen to a nation that never signed on to sanctions is not evidence of isolation failure any more than an ex-boyfriend going to McDonalds is a violation of a no-contact restraining order.
