People need to get a grip. When your child is hungry, you've lost your job because of some elitist regulation (see Dutch farmer protests) and your savings are dwindling; no one gives a fuck about climate change. It would be literally the last thing on their mind. We need to be compassionate and listen to the cries. What worries me are the assholes that are on their laptops all day drinking $15 wheat grass smoothies virtue signaling how they're helping climate change by using paper straws. It makes zero difference, yet they're the loudest people influencing policy decisions.
