I grew up around people like this - rich kids who would put exhaust stacks on their lifted F350s - so I know what you mean. My point is that the dem response to the hollowing out of the american working class (obligatory bill clinton approved NAFTA mention) seems to be "should've gone to college lol". Like it or not, white people are the majority in america, so it seems extremely counterproductive to only consider the needs of the "real" (read: not white) working class people instead of the entire group.
