Free websites so valuable they feel illegal
- politelemon 4y agoNice list. Regarding temp mail inboxes I've noticed that some sites are becoming quite wise to the many disposable email services and will prevent you from signing up using them. I wouldn't be surprised if there's some kind of reference masterlist that's regularly updated with all these services and their alias domains.
- naniwaduni 4y agoYou can catch a wide swath of those alias domains by the highly advanced method of "check the MX record and see if it matches a known disposable email service". This only accounts for some low-hanging fruit, of course, but at the end of the day the user can almost certainly just sign up with a "legitimate" free email provider or spin up a receive-only mail server wherever and there's not much you can do about that.

Many of us feel it when we get close to doing something that we understand to be unethical. Considering what half these tools do, I would presume that it's not the value that's making you feel this way, but the activity you were engaged in when you had occasion to use them...
