I think the issue in the UK is that the majority of houses are simply not good isolated. A heat pump needs to pump into an isolated house or it will not be very efficient.
- danw1979 4y agoyour poorly insulated house will loose 100kWh of heat per day no matter if it was sourced from a heat pump or a gas boiler.
- selfhoster11 4y agoEven if you are well isolated, without air circulation or a dehumidifier you'll be getting mold pretty quickly.
