Show HN: PodSnacks (CliffsNotes for Podcasts)
- vax425 4y agoUGH! Not another great submission on the same day I'm trying to get some eyeballs on my own Show HN! Seriously... Nicely done. I like the design. Nitpick: It's a little weird that every snack shows "LAURA KANIA" as the author. Might want to hide that until there's more than one snack maker? My big feature request would be to get the actual audio snippets, if that doesn't violate copyright. Even a text-to-speech button embedded in each article would be pretty good. If the audio could be rolled into a 5-minute digest so I can snack on several episodes of the same podcast, or a digest of everything that's snackable today. Keep going!
- siruva07 4y agoWishing you my best with Headlamp! Re: Hiding author name, understood on the nitpick. Hopefully more snack makers soon...and a great name for people writing the PodSnacks! Re: Feature Request, we tried that in this post 1) 1:46:55 https://www.podsnacks.org/xy-the-real-story-about-covid-vaccines/ https://www.podsnacks.org/xy-the-real-story-about-covid-vacc... 2) 24:11 https://www.podsnacks.org/-inequality-and-revolution/ https://www.podsnacks.org/-inequality-and-revolution/ Is that what you had in mind? We've also been thinking about an audio product, like a 5-minute digest, so thank you for the validation / feedback!
