They basically say: "Don't be an asshole with someone else's data". Most sane people don't want the sort of filth that data hogging developers and their employers try to insist on imposing on their unwilling victim. Get rid of the trackers, the un-necessary cookies, don't sell your user's data to the highest bidder, don't spam your users, you know the sort of thing .... and you'll be just fine under EU GDPR.
