- rvz 4y agoSo we are not going talk about the billions of Android phones still with unpatched 0 days that have been abandoned and haven't been fixed for years infected with ransomware? Is that why over the space of 8 years, there has been only ONE ransomware case for iOS found vs 7+ and counting on Android with 900,000 devices infected in just 30 days? [0] Of course you won't. Your comment is beside my point which I didn't say that iOS devices couldn't be hacked, compromised or attacked. My first reply specifically mentions the handling of this is done better on Apple devices, especially iOS devices. As soon as a 0 day is found, the OTA rollout covers more than >60% of supported devices in less than a week after releasing, even on the 6 - 7 major versions below. But of course, it appears you just had to deliberately misconstrue and misinterpret my replies, which happens very often with readers who rush into the comments section and never finish reading the whole comment. What a shame. [0] https://blog.knowbe4.com/evolution-of-mobile-ransomware https://blog.knowbe4.com/evolution-of-mobile-ransomware
