- brlewis 15y agoI find that idea really appealing, but I'm still not 100% convinced of its truth. I get the impression that FriendFeed made a few people really happy (still does) and Twitter made a lot of people kind of happy during the same time period. It seems Twitter was more successful. This argues against the gem. At the same time, Fred Wilson sees it the same way that Paul Buchheit does, independently from watching companies succeed or fail. This argues for the gem.
