Not knowing UK law at all or international law in general, my gut reaction is to ask what if any downside is there here? Would you for example have to renounce your current citizenship to obtain UK citizenship?
- oumua_don17 4y agoYes, I will have to renounce my Indian citizenship but I will get an OCI (overseas citizen of india) status where in I can do everything I could do as an Indian citizen except vote, buy agricultural land and can't work for Indian gov. I am not constrained by any of these restrictions TBH. Also as an OCI, I can travel in and out of India visa free.
