8 years is too much time. I feel like a technology gets replaced every 15 years so by this logic, rules will only get applied at the tail end of its lifespan. B

8 years is too much time. I feel like a technology gets replaced every 15 years so by this logic, rules will only get applied at the tail end of its lifespan. Better late than never but maybe 3-5 years would be a better number.
