i keep and show all my 40,000+ photos as random screen saver, on a screen in kitchen (Otherwise they're some useless gigabytes). The randomizing is terrible (as longest random shuffle is about ~2000 items, above that.. not very random), but sometimes it digs interesting ones :) completely forgotten, places or people..
