I am really hoping for a society-wide recognition that money isn't an end. Freedom, in the true sense of not being a slave to sin, is being free to seek the good. Money is useful insofar as it can allow us to seek the good, but currently a hyper growth focused society has forgotten why we wanted to grow in the first place. 1 Timothy 6:10: For the love of money is the root of all evils; it is through this craving that some have wandered away from the faith and pierced their hearts with many pangs.
