- pfdietz 4y agoLet's see... 40 MW to cut a 1 meter bore. If that's air cooled, and the air is heated by 100 C, then that's ~500 cubic meters of air per second to carry away that heat. Looks like we're drilling a supersonic wind tunnel here.
