As bikes go electric, it would be good to have them all required to have transponders. We just have to make it a requirement to have them on all the time, then we won't be plagued with this bike theft.
- thinkling 4y agoAs bikes go electric, you can make it so the motor blocks when your phone is not in range.
- lief79 4y agoSo you can end up with a dead phone and a nonfunctional bike?
- praxulus 4y agoIf you have a charged ebike, it ought to be easy to charge your phone. There are still other problems with that approach. VanMoof currently lets you unlock your phone with your bike, rather than requiring a constant connection, which seems like the right balance.
