If ByteDance wants to sell they will most likely choose Microsoft and demand at least $100bn for TikTok. Microsoft has the money and that acquisition would turn Microsoft into advertising powerhouse with Bing raking in $10bn a year, TikTok raking in also at least $10bn a year plus Microsoft signed a deal with Netflix to help them with advertising on Netflix.
- winternett 4y agoI don't believe that Microsoft as a company has the soul to do anything but eventually destroy it by integrating and advertising office products on it if that happened. Actually, I'm pretty sure most companies would destroy it if it changed hands anyway, but it would be the end of the world if they allowed people to make TikToks with PowerPoint... The crashes alone would destroy America worse than China has so far.
