Instagram Is Dead
- rjleone 4y ago"It has become QVC 2.0. About four years ago, I postulated as much. I was hopeful that, with the launch of IGTV (remember that), Instagram could become an excellent way for brands to tell their stories. — much like QVC did in its early days." I would have never compared the two but it's so true when I think about it. This just shows my age haha.
- Bubble_Pop_22 4y agoJust like Facebook is dead according to everybody. When you look at the numbers they don't lie, the Meta platforms reach 3B people and expanding. Numbers don't lie, bloggers and people who predict the demise of Facebook should just admit to themselves that their passion for the new niche app such as Mastodon or the Web3 scams or whatever thing is putting itself out there as a FB competitor are late to the game. They'll have a shot in 50 years when everybody would have reached the same wealth and comfort level of people writing from their bubble of wealth thinking that regular people have the same luxury as them to be concerned about FB data policy or how it's not decentralized enough.
- jethronethro 4y agoAccording to so many pundits and experts online, everything died about 4.5 years ago or is in the process of dying. Why don't we wait until there's the digital equivalent of a body before pronouncing death?
