Yep, they certainly do add up! That's why I refuse to subscribe to any app. I will never, ever, subscribe. I've abandoned apps I love when they transitioned to subscriptions. Note that I do subscribe to services. Disney+ and Amazon Prime provide a service. I also subscribe to Deliveries (which is $5/yr not $7 as the article states) to track packages. Again it's a service not just an app; they actually do something on the backend-- I autoforward package notifications to a special email address and they're immediately added to the app. Very convenient.
