- tehbeard 4y agoHow is it debt to not massively overengineer? They're concern would have been handling rainfall within nominal temperature ranges, not building it to handle every possible scenario? Would you consider it tech debt if the runway structure failed when a UFO landed due to its exhaust causing resonance?
- kennend3 4y agoOr the classic "penny wise and pound foolish" which is fitting as the saying originated in the UK. Perhaps they opted to error on the side of "lets be really optimistic on temperature ranges and save a lot of money on materials"?
