My parents were the same, and at the time I felt deprived (my friends spoke glowingly of their Disneyworld trips).
But I nevertheless grew into a Disney grinch. (We have roller coasters in Maryland!)
- bombcar 4y agoIn SoCal Disneyland was widely considered as being "for the babies" amongst my crowd - the real deal was to go to Magic Mountain where they had a ride that went upside down.
