I do not personally want to loosen the labor market. I just can't believe we're jumping to "increase the birthrate" in these conversations. If we run out of workers in any way that matters we should hire people who already exist. It is unethical and irrational to suggest that deliberately creating millions of human lives is a valid solution to a minor business problem.
