Some people, when confronted with a problem, think "I know, we’ll use more government regulation." Now they have two problems.
- antisthenes 4y agoAnd others think: "we'll let the free market sort it out". Now you have 3 problems. 1. There exists an entrenched monopoly with political influence 2. Customers are being price gouged as a result of monopolistic price setting 3. Regulatory capture through lobbying by the monopoly ensures there's no competition going forward.
