Thinking about all the people ahead of us is super inspiring. Our world of 7.5B is expected to reach 10B in just 2050. I can't help but think about all the new lives coming into existence, experiencing life for the first time, seeing stars for the first time. Thinking about their challenges, their fears, their families. Effective Altruism gets a bad rep for all the talk about suffering, existential threats, and poverty, but I feel like it's helped me zoom out and see our world in whole.
