A password can provide more legal protection than fingerprint or facial unlock
- throwawayfelon 4y agoWhen I was arrested the police broke the password on my phone in a few minutes. There's no protection there, legal or otherwise. All these empty 'hot takes' come from a place of never having been arrested or sat in a room with a load of police, when it's your phone they're trying to break it's a whole different world. (for the record I was innocent and the police were very nice through the whole thing)
