It's just American exceptionalism and protectionism.
Same for trying to ban Turkey selling drones, Europe using Huawei, Europe buying Russian gas instead of American LNG, etc.
- butlerm 4y agoTurkey is a member of a military alliance with the United States and sources parts from other NATO members as well. If they were not a part of NATO, the U.S. would have little or no say about who they sold drones to. I think if you asked Turkey they would probably rather remain in NATO.
