I heard this phrased as people wanting “revenge instead of equality”. It will be interesting to see what happens as the pendulum continues its over-corrective course. Will there be a long-delayed reckoning like with China's preference for boys and the one child policy? I don't expect the ideologues who are encouraging the current trajectory will be around to pay the price for it.
