Netflix, as an employer, is apparently very much of the mind that they're not a family but a team, and if you're not contributing to the success of the team, you're cut. And I mean, every corporation is that, but Netflix is loud and proud about that. Or so I'm lead to believe. With that said, I guess they shouldn't be surprised if their once-loyal customers tell them to pound sand because they're no longer a good value versus the new game in town.
