- SketchySeaBeast 4y agoHonestly, the fact that my 3080 can draw 400W makes me kind of sick and I limit FPS specifically so it doesn't. I can't ever see myself buying a card that draws double that.
- 7speter 4y agoUndervolt, friend. I'm running my 3060ti at ~100watts and the overclock is reaching 2150mhz. All while running at around 54 degrees (with a three fan cooler in an air conditioned room)
- max51 4y agoYou can reduce the power limit a lot on a 3080 before it impacts performance. The last 3 - 5% of performance they are getting out of their chip is responsible for more than a third of the power draw on higher clocked cards.
- SketchySeaBeast 4y agoYeah, I've significantly undervolted both my GPU and CPU. I now never see 300W, really helped with thermals as well.
- smileybarry 4y agoThat's... Disturbing. I thought we were still in the 200-300W range for high-end non-xx90-cards.
