the reason for this is because i'm web developer and i will have to use things like webpack that are poorly optimized
my new laptop needs to be able to endure that (without getting uncomfortably hot)
- foldr 4y agoI have an M1 MBA, not an M2, but for the M1 at least, you have to really hit the CPU hard to make it noticeably warm. It's CPU+GPU loads that make it toasty. In most use cases webpack would run for a few seconds and then stop, so throttling is unlikely.
