If I have cardboard and paper scraps and stuff is it better to compost it at home or put it in the city recycling bin?
- woodruffw 4y agoThis probably depends on the quality and volume of your paper waste. If it's junk mail (weather treated, bleached and dyed), then putting it in your compost is likely to do more harm than good. On the other hand, if it's mostly minimally processed cardboard, you shred it and mix it into your food waste[1].
