- spacemanmatt 4y agoTales from I was a Trumpet Strumpet But for real, yeah, my family wasn't a fallback plan. I very much intended to live more comfortably than that.
- lc9er 4y agoSimilar story here. Although once music as a profession was out, I continued to play in rock bands for a long time. No one in my peer group "made" it, but the ones that stayed in it the longest, and had the best gear, the best studio recordings, were the ones that had well-to-do parents.
