> Yeah, but half of the HIMARS have been destroyed
Theres 0 evidence that 1, let alone half the HIMARS have been destroyed. On the contrary, we have seen ~3 more Russian ammo depots explode in the past two days.
> Russia kept its pace and slowly but surely is winning
Russia has made nearly 0 gains in the past two weeks, and in the past couple months the gains require a lot of zooming in on a map to even see.
> And as Putin said, they hasn't started and we believe him.
Yes Russia hasn't started at all, thats why they are throwing their hypersonic missiles and US anti carrier weapons at Ukrainian warehouses and shopping malls. Not only has Russia started, this is _all_ Russia has. The most astounding thing about this war is how poor Russias armed forces really are.
- nikolay 4y agoThere's plenty of evidence including videos - just not on CNN. Actually, Russia is steadily advancing according to Ukrainian own sources [0]. I can understand the optimistic and Russophobic beliefs that this is all Russia can do, but it's far from the truth! Zelensky soon will be the most hated Ukrainian leader ever because with him serving Biden, not the Ukrainian people, he will lose a lot more. His attitude of begging and criticizing those who gave him an unprecedented support did not do anything but dig Ukraine deeper into the hole started by Biden when he was Obama's vice president! - TheLoafOfBread 4y agoI saw that so called evidence, one video released by Russian MoD is 4 white (!) trucks, which were missed by wide margin. Why HIMARS would be parked next to each other, when it is making attacks from Donetsk to Kherson is an exercise in critical thinking about so called evidence. Other video is extremely blurry box which looks more like a random truck and it is hard to say what was actually hit.
- nikolay 4y agoIs still better than the "evidence" provided by Ukraine!
- _kbh_ 4y agoThe evidence provided by you Ukraine is usually clear footage of warehouses exploding. That’s much better then the non existent evidence provided by Russia. I find it strange that you out right believe a country that says they blew up 200% of the total produced bayraktars and all of the Ukrainian airforce on day one. When it’s clear both of these are outright lies. Not even the Russian PMC Wagner thinks that any HIMARS have been destroyed, they are saying it’s a log truck. https://twitter.com/JayinKyiv/status/1549112870327111680 https://twitter.com/JayinKyiv/status/1549112870327111680
- _kbh_ 4y agoCan you link to a single video of a HIMARS being destroyed? Your the one making the assertion you need to provide the evidence. If this isn’t all that Russia can do then why have they not being doing it’s all from the start? Russia has lost around 50k troops, close to 1k tanks, thousands of supply vehicles and hundreds of helicopters / planes and a number of ships including their flag ship in the Black Sea. But what for?. So one day they can reveal their ‘true’ might?. Sounds like it would of been better for them to go all in instead of bombing Ukrainian malls with anti ship weapons and losing their Black Sea flag ship to a country without a navy. It’s not Russophobic to think that maybe Russia should be able to fight a war only hundreds of kilometres from its own border, but I guess no one accounted for just the level of corruption their was. Russias advance has pretty much entirely stalled for the past two weeks but it’s not surprising when close to 30 of your ammo depots explode over two weeks.
