Yeah I was gonna say. Can't they hire some of the engineers from Iceland? Or is this about much deeper geothermal vents that haven't been accessed in this way before?
- p_l 4y agoIceland is also pretty much on thin crust around a bunch of active volcanoes, plus it has much lower energy needs. Geothermal power in Iceland is effectively playing on easy mode.
