Blood Exchange and Alzheimer's Disease
- rossdavidh 4y agoIf this were true, I would think that one could look at the incidence of Alzheimer's among hemophiliacs (unless there aren't enough old people in that demographic to calculate a rate for it), which should prove/disprove it pretty conclusively. Not "easy", exactly, but straightforward.
- JPLeRouzic 4y agoI do not see the possible relation between hemophilia and Alzheimer as hemophiliac do not require transfusion, or do they?
- rossdavidh 4y agoWell at least a few decades ago part of why they got hit by AIDS early was that they had more blood transfusions (this was before screening for HIV was in place).
