- matthewmacleod 4y agoAmong others, but the thing I’d guess the parent was referring to is a specific kind of culture warrior who loses their absolute shit when anybody uses the term “people” in relation to any topic that primarily involves women; some trans men may menstruate or have done so in the past, for example, so there is a tendency in the field to avoid gendered terms unless it’s necessary.
