I don't like swearing in presentations when the presenter is attempting to appear cooler then the audience they are addressing. These presentations tend to also be full of goofy pictures and lots of hyperbole and really turn me off. On the other hand, when I'm sitting through a very technical talk and the engineer giving the presentation warns the audience about "wading through a lot of shit to get this feature working" I tend to take them seriously on that point.
