The coal to wind/solar analogy would be more appropriate if coal only burned about half of the time.
- doctor_eval 4y agoYeah, you have to add storage to the equation to make it work for solar. But since batteries for home use are commercially available, albeit still a bit expensive, it's more of an omission than a repudiation.
- tamaharbor 4y agoI agree, products like the Tesla solar roof and Powerwall are amazing, but mostly for the rich, at least for now.
