It's funny how it says there's "one picture in existence" but the site just shows "watterson.jpeg" and no actual photo, even in old archives.

- upwardbound 4y agoIf anyone wants this, here's the highest-resolution version I could find of that photo of Watterson. https://image.cleveland.com/home/cleve-media/width2048/img/nationworld_impact/photo/calvin-fans-reason-to-smile-due-out-soon-film-and-a-rare-interview-357831e82e3960ed.jpg https://image.cleveland.com/home/cleve-media/width2048/img/n... He looks just like Calvin's dad for sure :)
- jamiek88 4y agoThat’s what I thought as well, Calvin’s dad as self portrait adds another lovely layer to it too!
- Natsu 4y agoI wonder if this can be added to Wikipedia under 'fair use' as it's apparently the only pic around.
- grepfru_it 4y agoA quick google for bill watterson brought up several photos. IANAL and as such YMMV
- sedev 4y agoShort version: no. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Image_use_policy#Fair-use/Non-free_images https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Image_use_policy#Fai...
- Izkata 4y agoLooks like broken javascript. If you inspect "watterson.jpeg" and go up a few sibling elements, there's this: <div class="rawhtml"> <span class="resimg adv-photo-large" data-image="http://media.cleveland.com/ent_impact_home/photo/11001963-mmmain.jpg" data-position="article-main"></span> </div> http://media.cleveland.com/ent_impact_home/photo/11001963-mmmain.jpg http://media.cleveland.com/ent_impact_home/photo/11001963-mm...
