- linmob 4y agoI wrote my Thesis in LibreOffice in 2019 on a 2015 MacBook Air, with Zotero integration. It was pretty nice, and thanks to MacOS even coming back just fine, document open and no line lost after me being too stupid to plug my Mac into power, it was a pretty great experience.
- danaris 4y agoIt appears to have an Apple Silicon native version available, so it is likely to run quite well; I haven't used it for over a decade, so I can't speak to its usability and whatnot, but unless things have changed significantly, I imagine it's still nearly identical between OSes.
- sys_64738 4y agoDoes anybody really use it anymore? Most folk use Google Docs or some other online version nowadays.
- _tom_ 4y agoI just bought word after a year of trying use Libreoffice. Libre is usable, but has many minor bugs. I'd probably use google docs before Libreoffice.
