You’re correct about the connection of classism and racism. I believe outside of that class largely doesn’t matter due to the many geographical cultural differences. Coastal classism will be different than southern classism, etc. and it’s just too much of headache to keep check of this and care. You think a rancher in Wyoming who owns a ranch with acres of land cares about Wall Street bankers? How do you measure class here? Or maybe it’s just that Americans believe they are all temporarily inconvenienced millionaires.
