I fixed my sleep with modafinil, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone not just because I'm a nobody but because fixing sleep wasn't why I was taking it, that was just a happy side effect. My problem was and in part still is that it's quite hard for me to stay awake during the day, which meant that when I was in school I slept through most of it and when I was at work I would either fall asleep or "zone out" to the point of no functionality. Once when I was operating a lathe someone told me to stop the machine after it passed ~300mm on the X axis, which takes maybe a minute, but before it reached that point I was already out of it, luckily the person was nearby and very quickly noticed what's happening and managed to stop the machine. Modafinil helps me keep my eyes open and stay present in the real world. But I'm my country you can only get it via a prescription, so it's not really accessable.
