My favorite storage hack recently has been using a bun rack (https://www.webstaurantstore.com/regency-10-pan-end-load-half-height-bun-sheet-pan-rack-unassembled/600PR103K.html https://www.webstaurantstore.com/regency-10-pan-end-load-hal...) to store the Harbor Freight plastic storage bins.
It’s the correct length and height already, you just need to trim the width of the cross supports and tap the ends again.
The HF bins are cheap and have removable inserts that index in the lid, so you can remove one, close the lid, and your parts stay in place.
