Ask HN: Why no company is able to deliver Apple M1/M2 performance per watt
Apple launched M1 close to 2 years ago. It delivered exceptional performance per watt. Qualcomm being so old ARM player why they are so far behind?

- oumua_don17 4y agoIf it were just a matter of node size, do you think Intel of all companies would have hesitated to throw all the financial muscle they have at migrating their designs to work with TSMC nodes?

Problem us apple uses financial clout to force out others or gain exclusive access to the latest and greatest. We will get a more apples to apple comparison when all competing architectures are manufactured on the same node.
