I was thinking the same. Building something without sharing is one thing. Dumping code on GitHub is second level. Third is building a good README. Fourth is building a good README and announcing it to the right audience. Very well executed. I'm not sure there's a level between fifth and "being obnoxiously pushy," but if there's such a thing, I'd be interested to know. :)
