TIL Arc A380 is (1) an Intel product that (2) is a standone GPU card, and is (3) available only in China, and (4) performs worse than comparably priced things from AMD and NVidia.
- rasz 4y agoIt performs worse than the low end Nvidia card from 6 years ago.
- bravetraveler 4y agoIt's their first real effort in the discrete GPU market from what I understand, so I can be a little forgiving... But I also see the trend that they intend to rely a lot on upscaling. There's so much of the chip dedicated to AI/video stuff compared to good old 3D
