Why are Nespresso machines everywhere in Europe, vs nowhere in the US, where Keurig coffee makers are thee most popular?
Why didn’t Nespresso take off in the US, and conversely?

- codefreeordie 4y agoIt's not as one-sided as you think, but Keurig machines make filter coffee, and Nespresso machines make something that emulates espresso. Espresso is the default kind of coffee in Europe, and filter coffee is the default kind of coffee in the US, so it is unsurprising that more people in the US prefer the Keurig and more people in Europe prefer the Nespresso.
