Any employer who reduces an offer is a huge red flag and is presumptively a moron. You dodged a bullet. You should have ceased communication when the offer was "reduced" in the first place! Maybe the balance of power is shifting back to employers, but it's still premature to act on that assumption. Plenty of room to negotiate and get good jobs.
